My Dad died. He died owing more money than he had. It was a mess so I hired a lawyer to help me with the mess of settling my Dads estate. My Dad owned a membership at Spring Island but he was not current with the payments and he was in default. Sean Bolchoz was hired at the request and urging of the probate attorney to try and litigate the debt my fathers estate owed. Sean Bolchoz’s position was that his membership must be worth something. So, my Dads estate spent about $30,000 trying to prove my Dads Spring Island membership was worth something. It was not. After this ordeal, I went to another lawyer, who knew how Spring Island operated and it’s bylaws etc. and he informed me AT NO COST that if you are delinquent in your dues, your memberships is worth nothing.
