I cannot express how many red flags I observed with this law firm. If you have serious business to conduct, I recommend seeking a more professional and polished agency. First, they rudely attempted to educate me with the utmost authority on the matter that it was "against the law" for attorneys to assist individuals with pro se motions. This is patently false, and struck me strongly as subtle economic predation. Allow me to explain: attorneys are, in fact, permitted to assist in this fashion, and it is quite common. We call this "limited-scope representation". So they were either flat out lying, or extremely ignorant. Which it was, and which is more dangerous for you as a potential client, is for you to decide. I was recommended Doug but didn't get past a 2min phone call before he hung up on me. He asked vague questions and talked over me when I would answer them. He then got annoyed that he was confused. Just because he wouldnt let me simply answer his questions without immediately interrupting. Cognitive dissonance and poor listening skills are a truly bad combination. I'll just call a professional.

Went to Skelton for a non contested custody case. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They got started on the case immediately an were very responsive when contacted. Would recommend. Through out my case I had several lawyers that I feel didn’t do half of what Skelton law firm did for me
