Called seeking advice on a real estate matter. Was set up with a phone consultation for the next day. I was thrilled! Until the call never happened. When I called to ask what happened, I was told a closing was running long and the attorney would call me back shortly. Hours later and I've been stood up. On to the next.

We tried to use Adams to help us with a purchase agreement and closing, and no only was his office aloof and terrible at response times, they coordinated with our buyer to change the terms of our arrangement without letting us know. Then they appeared in court after the deal fell through, claiming to have been the buyers attorney the whole time and never having dealings with us. I would never use this attorney again, for anything. He is corrupt, does not respect his clients, and is never forthright about anything.

We have been stuck with using Welborn Adams twice for real estate closing. The individual is arrogant, distant, and aloof. We sold home and were forced to use him, we went through the entire closing documentation and signing at the end, I asked about the transfer of proceeds to us, he stated that the funds had not been transferred and there was nothing he could do about it. The buyers, on their own, called their financial institution to eventually transfer the funds. We were delayed for hours until the money was finally transmitted. Mr. Adams should have told us at the start of the process what the situation was, and not wait until the end of the process. I would definitely never use this attorney again for anything.
