Four years ago and two years before my dad passed who had a traumatic brain energy and was dying of cancer we went to Mr. Allen to have will and power of attorney drawn up. I went to original appt with my father. I was living in NC at the time and called Mr. Allen to make sure everything was done and dad had all the paperwork he needed. He was very snarky like it was none of my business when I was power of attorney. Did not tell us other options I found out later would have been easier. Told me to call if I needed any help with will down the road. Two years go by and my dad passed. I called Mr Allen back and was told he could do nothing for me now I would need an estate attorney ( as my father’s situation was no longer his problem now that he passed ) but this was never told to me before.

First of all, when I first called, he gave me honest advise without hounding me for money. I waited 4 months until I was able to be eligible for him to take on my case, this was because of his honesty and took time out to give me smart advice. The staff at that office was very friendly and helped me through my process. I've always had my doubts about lawyers, but Mr. Allen really went above and beyond to complete my case.
