Ms Winterberger took on the FL side of one of my Texas cases. This was a complex, interstate family law matter involving custody, visitation, divorce, and most especially jurisdiction between two states. The other side had filed a bunch of emergency pleadings in FL to try to stop what was legally proper in Texas. I encouraged my client to find local council because she now had two hearings going in two different states. Make no mistake, this stuff is higher-level, complicated stuff that many family law attorneys (and judges) do not understand, misinterpret, and in some cases just plain butcher. The only reason I gave them the one star is because the staff was very polite and helpful. Mrs Winterberger charged 100$ for a 25 minute consult that gave me no more insight than when I walked in. I expected a lawyer to dig into my case and give some actual help or advice. She gave neither and instead focused on information that is readily available on any legal website. There are family law firms out there conducting FREE phone consults while she charges you 100$ to ramble on in her office. The actual details of my case and the reason I was trying to get a divorce wasn’t even discussed until 15 minutes into the consult. I expected a lawyer to ask up front, “ok so what happened”. Not here. If you want to waste your money go ahead and schedule a consult, if you’re not into wasting your time
