Rivas Goldstein, LLP

Reading previous reviews really surprised me because i did NOT HAVE THE SAME EXPERIENCES WITH THIS FIRM. I paid over $7,000 and after dealing with the unjustly BON disciplinary actions against me for unknowingly taking employment with home health care during the emergency crisis of COVID I was given added time to my restriction which I ultimately would have had without paying for an attorney. I felt attorneys did nothing to change my conditions…I felt I blew 7k on Rivas firm for an outcome with no change, but added time to my case… I don’t recommend these lawyers. I had hoped for my case to result with little to no time under restrictions for responding to the governor’s call for nurses who had retired or not working to help during the time nurses didn’t want to make home visits🤷🏻‍♀️😭

This firm was a godsend as I walked through some nasty allegations over the course of a year and a half, fighting to keep my license as a nurse. They were very friendly, very prompt in delivering any updates, and very compassionate. The day came for mediation with the board, and for the first time my husband and I met John face to face. He immediately put us at ease, as he was very easy to talk to, and down to earth. We left about an hour and a half after the mediation began with all charges completely dismissed. I know this would not have been the case without hiring this firm. You guys are great! I would strongly recommend John Rivas and his team!
