Maine Equal Justice

I love everything about this organization. Not only do they advocate for social justice, but they take special attention at giving people the tools to be community leaders. Giving power back to every day mainers and teaching people how to get involved in the legislative process by self advocating. They also help with individual cases for social services. I am excited for the changes they have helped make in Maine, and the changes they are continuing to strive for. As a person of color, this organization gives a friendly, and FAIR seat at the table. Striving to build bridges to reduce the disparities of ALL marjonalized groups in Maine! Cant say enough good things!

Even though they dont normally take walk ins they greated us kindly and sat down to discuss our issue. They provided us with straight forward and clear answers about what was going on and did all they could to help us.

There good program also puts on community things for information booths
