Struggling to Get Help When It Matters Most I’m going through a critical situation involving abuse, safety concerns, and custody challenges — and I called Legal Aid of Western Ohio hoping for help. Unfortunately, the intake process was a nightmare. I was told to slow down multiple times, even though I was trying to communicate clearly, and then hung up on. When I called back, it happened again. I asked for a different advocate, but was ignored. This isn’t just inconvenient—it’s dangerous. Please improve how you handle crisis-level calls.

Be nice to speak to a person and not have operating system continue to hang up on me, or the website keep telling me the is error loading page. How does a person even fill out an application if I can't do it after 1 pm and the online site can't be reached and I can't speak to anyone?

No one there in person, no one answers the phone

Horrible this place is a joke they only have if ppl are getting evicted then they tell u there not taking cases
