If I could give less than a 1 star I would. What kind of lawyer takes your money and then makes you represent yourself? Alex took his $1500 retainer fee months before the court date. In the late afternoon before court (set for 9 AM the next morning) asked for a continuance, which was denied. He would not return our calls or emails. My daughter had to represent herself, in front of her abusive ex. At the very LEAST Alex could have handled this situation like an adult and called one of us to explain or give us a heads up. I DO NOT RECCOMMEND this lawyer for your family needs.
