I needed an attorney, but did not actually have time to go and sit down with someone only to find out that they weren't going to be able to help me....that is until I reached out to Mary Gates. She was wonderful. She spent some time explaining and answering questions that I needed answers to via text. She made things so much more convenient for me, so I hired her. She handled a bankruptcy for me. She and Angela, her assistant, are a great team. But one thing really stood out to me. At the meeting of creditors, my case was the only case that wasn't called back for another hearing because we had everything that we needed the FIRST time! Thank you very much Ms. Gates!

I will say, don’t use him. Extremely rude, arrogant and money hungry. Took $111 for what he declared would be court costs, was told no paperwork would be drafted until Monday until after substantial amount was paid for retainer ($750). When I realized I actually no longer needed him, I called back less than an hour later and asked for the court costs back he not only raised his voice at me but was beyond unprofessional. Stick to someone else above. Currently in the process of filing a bar complaint.

I don’t have enough words to thank Scottie for helping me with my bankruptcy. I took FOREVER to get my paperwork together and she has been very patient through the entire process. I ask a million questions and she always took the time to walk me through everything. 5 stars for sure !! Anything I ever need in the legal realm she will be the first person I call !

Extremely professional and friendly staff. No problems in any needs or questions I had. No problem finding the office. Mrs. Hennigan was extremely kind, personable and professional. I enjoyed working with her. Was able to make payments easily on line and in the office. Would definitely recommend !

Working with Mrs. Hennigan at Gates Law as my primary attorney, we had an excellent experience! There was attention to detail, personal attention, and effective results. I really could not have asked for more. We can't expect things to be perfect when we are involved with legal system. When dealing with the courts and other lawyers on our behalf, I know there were factors beyond her control, but Mrs. Hennigan helped the process to feel as under control as possible and remained transparent with every step. Of course, it can always be a messy process, but all in all, I felt that our adoption process was handled with much care and concern.
