A word of advice to anyone exploring legal options for the elderly … be smart, do a little research on the many health/financial issues the elderly may encounter, learn from others experiences (the Internet is a trove of information if you just learn to “mine” it), then formulate some legitimate and pointed questions that you wish to discuss with your prospective legal team … do not go blindly into an appointment expecting the attorneys to read your mind … they are not mind-readers and will not provide solutions or offer counsel not knowing what you seek to achieve. Furthermore, a single session may not fully address your needs … time, patience, and diligence on the clients side is the key to a successful outcome.
