I'm a local attorney in the real estate field that has had the opportunity to work with this firm hundreds of times in the last 20 years. Wortman law consistently does great work. They are professional, they know the law and are very efficient handling real estate transactions. I would trust them to handle any transaction for me or one of our clients. Wiring seller proceeds is a dangerous practice that most good real estate attorneys no longer entertain. It's always a better idea to put the proceeds in the seller's hand in the form of a check rather then take the risk losing their money due to wire fraud.

I have had two closings scheduled with this office. After my experience the first time, I expressly stated I did not want to use this office again. Well, I was told the buyer gets to choose. Though, it is curious how people just happen to choose this office. I know my realtor suggested it. In retrospect, I do question if the realtors are receiving a kickback for the referral The prices are outrageous and the mistakes are rampant. And, above all, my next closing is in jeopardy because he operates like 1990 and refuses to wire proceeds. There aren't enough words for me to suggest you use ANY other office. Maybe you can find one that operates honestly

We had to sell our family beach retreat. Wortman Attorney office helps in a very fast manner with us and the buyer. They were about to send most of the paperwork through email to save from driving three hours one way to sign. We thank y'all so much for helping us with this sale.

Did not explain very well for what he charged. I left from there office more confused then when I went in.

Horrible Service Used this law firm to combine my 5 parcels into 1 2 acre plot. Took months of phone calls and emails to get things done. I had to stay on top of them about every little thing, or who knows when it would have gotten done. No one calls you back to notify when things have been done. They will take your name and info and never call you back. It took me calling them and saying that if they didn’t want to do the work, then I would take my business elsewhere, for them to file the paperwork the following day. Even then NO ONE notified me of anything. Will not recommend this law firm or use them again. Disappointing
