If you are looking for an easy, no hassle experience selling a home you might want to do a little research with your choice of attorney. Our experience with this attorney's office(buyer's choice) has been less than stellar. long and short of it was the communication is horrible, everything was last minute and even after giving all requested information for the home we were selling they got it wrong. The house sold, contract were prepared by the attorney's office and they "verified" all information on the property to include the remaining owed on the mortgage. We were contacted last minute to sign contracts, and payment was received. I used Cecil & Cecil to close on my first house. They were super fast and outstanding. He went through all the paperwork promptly and answered any questions I had. The front desk was also acknowledgeable and sweet. I would recommend this company!

Cecil & Cecil are the worst when it comes to customer service. We had a closing occur and they refused to give us answers on when we would receive funds for the closing. Communication was less than satisfactory - and when we called to discuss the situation a lady named Hope did everything but give good customer service. She stated nobody was in the office. No body could answer the questions and that she would take the message. When I explained that the seller was very upset she said " that's fine ill relay the message ". When I pressed for a timeframe for call back she said "I don't know but Ill let them know you called" . Refused to give us a time frame for call back, refused to give any answers, just refused to help. Zero sense of urgency. Its sad that customer service isn't the foundat

I would never recommend anyone to this law firm! We went here after being highly recommended to them by the clerk of court to help with my grandmother’s estate. Mother called every week for over 15 months after the final court date and the lawyer was either “in court” or “out of the office” or “in a closing”. She was told several times to come by and was put off again repeatedly. They don't return phone calls when they say they will. Certain lawyers prolong cases so that they can keep the money that is from an estate and then attempt to bill you for more money. It should not take over 15 months to finalize an estate when all the bills and receipts are presented to you and the CLIENTS do the work of finding the receipts and proof of what bank account it came from since the PAs couldn't find

Would give zero stars if I could! If you value your time, go elsewhere!!! I used them for closing on my first investment property, which was a cash purchase. There communication is so poor that it’s shocking. They were always out of the office, never had an update, and would “get to it tomorrow.” It’s always a fight with them. I recently rehabbed the same property and decided to refinance using a different attorney company. Guess what? Not only did I have to fight for my HUD documents the first time, they did not give the title work. I called/emailed for over TEN DAYS to try to get them to send it to me. And it was always “mr barker is very busy, but he will get back to you.” And guess what? Mr Barker never got back to me and I had to pay for a new title search with my current closing att
