I had not a clue who I was going to meet when I came to mediation. Attorney Jon Forehand introduced himself and told a brief story about his background and you could see the patience and understanding in the way he presented himself. I could tell right away he wasn’t the typical lawyer persona. He spent an afternoon helping with our case and everyone was ready to get it settled and he worked to get a resolution and did an outstanding job considering the circumstances. It definitely takes a special person to read people and understand them and then communicate to them like he does. Someone with humble beginnings that doesn’t quit.

On April 3, 2020, I will celebrate 10 years of my new life, as a Believer and recovering alcoholic. Mr.Forehand and his staff were extremely efficient in helping with my case. I was advised not to seek legal counsel because nobody won a case like mine in Moultrie. Mr.Forehand was like a big brother and I felt that I should not disappoint him. I did not. I stayed sober! Mr.Forehand is personable, kind, focused on details, a very nice gentleman.

Absolutely amazing attorney and staff. One of the most gorgeous buildings I've ever been in. It's handicap accessible, immaculately clean, and beautifully decorated. They pay close attention to their clients and go well beyond what is required, going the extra mile or two to assist them.

My husband retained Mr. Forehand for some legal matters so my personal experience is limited. I did however go into the office once and had one brief phone conversation with one of his assistants who was friendly and accommodating. She addressed my concerns in a way that I understood. My take away from all this is, lawyers are expensive, don't break the law and $5,000 doesn't go as far as you think it will.

Attorney Forehand did not represent my son to the best of his abilities. He encouraged him to pass on first time offender rights that are offered in the state of Georgia (against my wishes) and has caused him nothing but turmoil due to that decision. He avoided my calls for almost a year leading up to the day of his sentencing, then sat in the annex of the courtroom asking me basic questions about my son and his case (right before he went in front of the judge). My son was young and stupid to commit a crime and he was young and stupid to think that he could walk free in GA as a convicted felon! When I urged Jon to seek the first time offenders act, he told me that it wasn't a good idea because even a traffic violation could / would send my son to prison. My son ran scared and now he can't
