Joel is one of the best Attorney's around. I personally will not use anyone else as my Attorney. Joel has been my Attorney for 17 years. He helped me with custody and then the termination of parental rights against my oldest 2 kids father. Then he helped me when they got adopted by someone else. This year he helped me in a personal injury law suit for my daughter and myself bc we were hit by a drunk driver. I got exceptional service from Stacey, Chad and Joel. Joel even had Chad do a home visit when I was in casts and a wheelchair.

I have friends that are retired lawyers and they agree that Joel Weist is the most unprofessional lawyer. My family not myself, hired him to handle my Dads estate. It was a small estate and without ever seeing him besides at the courthouse for a brief five minutes to sign probate papers, I never spoke, or saw him personally again. He hides out in his office, apparently trying to figure out how to make the most money for himself without doing anything. With mountains of evidence, I did report him to the disciplinary board. They did agree with me, but did nothing to him.

To meet a deadline, I was told to rush and overnight certified documents 7 weeks ago. Which I did immediately. Then I started calling. I called and left a message every week. I eventually began emailing too. It’s taken 7 weeks to get a return call or response and the event they were necessary for past 4 weeks ago. Nothing was done. My time and money wasted... not to mention the loss of the actual purpose that would have been a no brainer if i had hired another attorney. Don’t waste your time or money on Rachel Brenner.

Joel Wiest doesn't reply to me. He acted like matters were urgent, so I acted quickly putting off my work. Then I didn't hear from him for months and would see him getting his back waxed by his young daughter on Facebook or reclining with a round belly on the beach in another state among other things. Money went down the drain very quickly. What a nightmare.
