I was referred to Whitaker & Hamer through MetLife Legal for assistance with real estate/deed questions. I initially spoke with Josh Whitaker, who was incredibly knowledgeable, patient and helpful. I later connected with Jordan Matthew, who was also thorough and provided thoughtful guidance. Both attorneys made a strong impression, and we were prepared to move forward with their recommendations and hire them. Unfortunately, when I called back to schedule an appointment to finalize everything, my experience with the receptionist "Dana" was disappointing. I was attempting to clarify next steps and confirm which attorney we had previously spoken with would take the case. The interaction felt unnecessarily dismissive, and rude. I have used Whitaker & Hamer Law firm many times in my 21+ year career in Real Estate. They are very efficient and get the ball rolling from the time I send a contract over. They use modern technology to gather seller information and buyer information with a private means. The attorneys are very knowledgeable about every facet of Real Estate Law and I have had many difficult scenarios over the years but Have trusted them with the correct answers. The paralegals do a great job in getting the transactions recorded same day and I can usually pick up checks the same day. This is important to me in keeping it local and with all their law firm locations that is easy to do. I highly recommend Whitaker & Hamer Law and I think you should give them a try. Taylor is so kind! She was polite, friendly, funny, and made signing a stack of paperwork the size of two dictionaries painless! She is definitely a keeper, I can see why this firm is preferred by so many in the area!

I sold some property and this is who the buyers choose to use so I agreed to let them do my paperwork as well instead of having to pay 2 attorneys. Staff were rude and snooty they acted as if I was trying to sell a property in my name alone without my spouses knowledge. I sent them 3 different trader agreements between him and I and each time they rejected it even though they were notarized and filed at the courthouse. Treated me as if I were beneath them. Will never use them again!! Horrible experience with a lot of running around and extra hassle for nothing!!
