I had a very different experience. It seems that my attorney cared more about money than helping my daughter. We never even made it to trial before he advised me to roll over and agree to let my daughter live with my ex (a convicted felon) and his paramour (aka his aunt) whom funded his attorney. I’m on disability and have limited resources. He advised that I could always modify the agreement later. Which I can’t afford and expressed that at the time. Months later when I asked him about it and it’s 2 hours away, I wasn’t even acknowledged by a response. I owe this man nothing and it wouldn’t even be in his area. Yet he can’t even be bothered to respond with a recommendation in that area. Unfortunately Troy doesn’t have many attorneys to choose from so I hope you choose wisely. I
