Extremely disappointed with the services provided by Jan Vater. Our daughter and son-n-law hired her two years ago to complete adoption paperwork, and as of today, the matter is still not resolved. The level of unprofessionalism is unacceptable. She does not answer or return phone calls, and her secretary is consistently rude and unhelpful when I am able to get through. Most concerningly, the office door is frequently locked during business hours, making it impossible to get an update or speak with anyone in person. Waiting two years for a sensitive family matter with zero communication is inexcusable. I would strongly advise anyone looking for a reliable, communicative attorney to look elsewhere." I would have given zero stars but there was no option to choose none. I would not recommend

Most lazy attorney I have ever met, she will take your money and try to do the LEAST POSSIBLE WORK

Jan stopped returning phone calls or emails. She only completed part of my divorce and left me with no money. I have a quattro that needs to be filled out and have asked for this for 3 years now with over 30 contacts. She does not care about women going through a divorce getting what they are owed. She only cares about her money and since she was paid, her work stopped as did the phone calls and emails. She said multiple times that she had completed the required and judge assigned paperwork only to find out by the ex's benefits union office, that she had lied to me and never turned in such paperwork. The union hall even contacted her with a fax number to fax the paperwork in. The quattro form should have been filed with my divorce filing. I DO NOT recommend her to anyone. I am afraid

if I could give 0 stars I would! She is awful. half the time it feels like she is siding with the other guys and hardly ever gets back to you. She out of the blue stoped calling and e-mailing me. Also when I moved she wanted me to move back to make things easier on her. My grandparents paid her and then she just stoped contact. And now that I need her help to get some information so I can get a new lawyer her and her assistant will not get back to me! I DO NOT suggest you go to her

This atty is totally worthless. Hired her in Nov. To do a simple title transfer as the company that we bought the truck from went out of business and we never got the title. 41/2 mo latter we finally got a court date and the matter still not resolved. Save ur $ hire someone else
