Varnum LLP

I've used them for my business for over two years. Mostly have worked with Kyle and Ashleigh with Kyle as my main point of contact. I went from a lower cost firm to them and I definitely believe they are worth every penny. They work with speed, easy to communicate with and have the resources to confidently help with with everything from HR opinions, defense and litigation. I'd highly recommend them.

I was represented by Erika Salerno in a change of domicile case, where I was the plaintiff. First off she was a great lawyer to work with but her performance in the court room (Judy Phillips) was not her strong suit. I felt she did not fight for me or my points in the custody matter. I ended up having to pay child support from the date of entry (1.5yrs, $16.5K), no legal custody and 8 days a month for a child who I cut the ambilocal cord and help raise and pay for everything since -9months. Did I mention she is $400/hour? I publicly rate this experience with a hard thumbs down. Granted the court system is built against men, my feelings regarding this particular lawyer experience still stand. 2 stars for the end result I received versus how much I had to (still have to) pay.

I've had the opportunity to watch Elliott Berlin grow from college, to law school, to practicing corporate law attorney. He puts in long hours to make sure his clients' rights are protected and his attention to detail makes all the difference. If I ever needed corporate law services, he is who I would call, and I refer these matters to him in my own law practice.

This firm did not represent myself directly, but with my interactions with a partner of this firm, she's one of the worst partners for Varnum. I wouldn't recommend this law firm to my worst enemy. Between the unprofessionalism, unresponsiveness, and biases, you'd be better off anywhere else!

Worst waste of money ever,do not think you are going to get anywhere with custody. Unprepared,poor communication, office filled the wrong paper work making the process longer. Don't expect to get any reminder calls before your case they call afterwards to remind you.
