Ms. Petermann represented me for three years during a contested divorce case. Below are the facts that drove me to submit a one star review. 1. Ms. Petermann dropped me as a client right before the final hearing. Her reason was that I "lost confidence" in her ability to represent me. a. I was paid in full the entire duration she represented me and I received a refund from her office after she dropped me. b. This occurred after I spent over a month waiting for a yes or no answer to a specific paragraph in an order. Ms. Petermann couldn't find the time to provide the answer to me as I waited over a month for her to do so. 2. Billed hours for work that didn't appear to have occurred. a. I arrived to Ms. Petermann's office to attend a hearing via video conference. Ms. Petermann arrived f

The slowest lawyer on the planet. It took over 6 months to do a simple uncontested divorce. By the time I realized how slow they were they already had my retainer. I would highly recommend going somewhere else.

I've invested around 11,000 and still have not been able to get an in-person appointment with her. About 3 years later still no closer to divorce or custody than the day I started. I can never get her on the phone either. After paying over 1,800 just last week I got another bill for another 1,000 plus mediation fees with no contact with my actual attorney. This is just crazy, I don't feel she understands the severity of being a single mom with two disabled girls working 3 jobs to make ends meet and only send correspondence through email. How can someone represent you if they haven't taken the time to actually know you? After almost 3 years I feel there should've been more contact and conversations with my attorney.

I wanted to hire Ms. Peterman cause she represented my mom 15 years ago and did a fine job. We got to her office on time for the consultation but she was 45 min late. We were thinking surely she got caught up in court. No she walked in wearing some sort of tennis outfit. So anyway during the consultation she implied what I was wanting her to handle was pretty cut and dry and would be no issue at all to resolve. My Fiancé had read a couple bad reviews on here about her but I refused to believe them and went on and hired her.
