If I could give more than 5 stars for Shawn and Kenya Risen, I absolutely would!. My wife and I just completed the adoption process of our niece. I was nervous about everything but every time I spoke with Shawn or Kenya I felt at ease. They would explain everything, ensuring there were no surprises. They both called when they said they and if I called them and they could not answer I was immediately called back within the day. The day of court went just like Shawn said it would; perfect!!! We can’t thank them enough for their kindness and professionalism through this adoption process. I hope they understand the positive impact they have provided for our family.

We just finished court, being represented by Dan Risen, and during his opening the judge interrupted Dan to pay his compliments. The judge stated that “as always”, all of the proper paperwork was filed and there were no details missing. He said that he couldn’t say it for all lawyers, but Dan always makes his job easier. Approaching this date we had a great experience working with Dan and with Kenya at the office. Our hearing was a breeze and we are so thankful to have worked with this firm. Highly recommend.

My court case was a bit difficult and took over a year to get processed that was not their fault however Mr. Shawn, Mr. Dan, and Mrs. Kenya made sure to communicate with me regarding any updates and if anything had came up that needed to be addressed. My case is over now and I am 100% pleased with their help. Thank you to everyone that had a part in my case you were all very helpful.
