I seem to have had a similar experience as some of the other individuals making reviews. I also am an owner of a property in SC and contacted this firm to seek guidance on how to move forward with a possible property dispute. I was given very censored and short answers, talked down to, and was told by the paralegal, "I'm just the middle man" with no clarity on why the attorney did not want to look into the case. I was inquisitive in trying to find out why the attorney did not want to take on the case so I could understand better what my next steps would be, but it seems like the paralegal was just irritated. Bad experience, I would recommend being a little more transparent to help people like me who are just looking for guidance and understanding.

I am a co-owner of a property in South Carolina and contacted this firm because they were listed for handling property disputes. When I called, the receptionist transferred me to a paralegal, who was professional. However, I was then transferred to someone named LYNN. Lynn was extremely dismissive, gave me very short answers, and told me she would speak with the lawyer and call me back the next day. On August 22, 2025 at 12:54pm, I received a call from her, and the way she treated me was unacceptable. No one seeking legal advice should have to deal with unprofessional, rude, or possibly discriminatory behavior. I truly hope the firm reviews the call recording. I am relieved they did not take my case having them represent me would have been a waste of money.

My family was involved with this law firm because of their client. There were closing delays and payment via wire was not an option. They sent a check via FEDEX standard next day delivery on a Friday without signature required. The check delivered on a Monday and it was cancelled without confirming that it was received causing further delay as they resent another check via the same shipping method. We were not aware of the cancellation until the 2nd check showed up causing wasted trips to the bank to handle the current and prior deposit. Yes, the cancelled check had already been deposited. Procrastination at it finest because the cost to stop payment could have just been applied to the wire transfer in the first place.

Never again! I have used this firm for a total of 9 real estate transactions beginning in the 1970’s but this review is about the most recent one. We owned 2 condos in the same building in Myrtle Beach and we sold one of them about 4 months ago. But we discovered that they had accidentally sold the unit we were keeping instead of the one we were selling! The unit numbers were indeed similar but, um, duh. The firm claimed it was a “scrivener’s error” but it turns out it was more serious, there were also other errors. Although we did eventually get the deed for the condo we are keeping back in our names, it took an enormous amount of time and energy.

I decided not to use this lawfirm after they were delivered an executed contract and it took them two days to respond with an agreememt to service me the client.. mind you, I called after 24 hours to get answers and move things along only to be forwarded to someone's voicemail. I'll take my busines to where customer service is more responsive and efficient. Thank you.
