I was very impressed with how easy it was to work with the SC Bar Association in finding the type of lawyer I needed. I have used lawyers in the past, and it can be challenging to find one with the appropriate experience. The SC Bar Association significantly reduced my search time, allowing me to obtain the legal services I needed promptly.

South Carolina Bar's service to provide referrals to reasonable and affordable lawyer consultation is very much needed. It is unfortunate that there are not more South Carolina Lawyers willing to participate in the program. Often times established Law firms or Lawyers do not lack much with their financial income or high salary, so to give back to residents who can't afford their expensive prices is not to much to ask.

I wasted a month by contacting two different attorneys. Each had "advertised" a legal specialty, but both seemed clueless. Each time, it took approximately two weeks of waiting for return phone calls and an answer as to the process. Fortunately, I found the South Carolina Bar's referral service. It was a quick and easy process to answer questions geared to guide me to the right lawyer for my specific needs. The South Carolina Bar suggested Attorney William "Chad" Bettis to handle my specific needs. As it turned out, Attorney Bettis was terrific! He immediately went to work for me and the outcome of the entire process was exactly as he described. Was really glad to find out about this service. They were great. Found a lawyer for my problem fast. It was nice not to have to call different places looking for a lawyer. I hope I don’t need them in the future but if I do they will be my go to..

Referral service is awesome and you get to speak with the type of lawyer you need. The referral service also follows up with you to make sure you have reached the referral they gave. This service is awesome and I don't know what I would have done without it. Thank you so much for outstanding service.
