My husband got a speeding ticket in Southaven - written on a Mississippi state ticket instead of city of Southaven ticket - so it would go on his driving record. We had R. Warren Smith represent him in court and the ticket was completely dismissed with only a small court cost ($50). They even paid the cost up front that day and invoiced us to pay them back for the court cost so he never even had to go to court. I called to get a power of attorney, they don’t do those apparently. This is from their website: Estates and Wills Tailored to your needs. Includes drafting wills, probating estates, land deeds, *powers of attorney*, and healthcare directives. I asked the lady several questions to understand what the issue with my POA was and she kept repeating “at this time we don’t do those” over and over. Probably a great response for a court, but not for a prospective client. I wanted to know the reason so that I can go to a different lawyer with a proper understanding as to whether the issue is that the POA was going to be used for a sale of a property in another country, or because the person signing the POA was from a foreign country. I can respect the decision not to do a POA, but when asked for
