We hired this law firm to prepare and record a deed for us. They prepared it they got it back from us before 12/22. Alyssa Denmark (secretary) told me that it takes time for them to record it. I called Polk County clerk of courts yesterday and found out they never sent in to be recorded. Lots of mishandling and the law firm didnt know what happened. Imagine spending money to get this done and the lawyers office didn’t know what they did with it. Melody one of the attorneys told me yesterday i didn’t need to be so upset but she also didn’t know the full story. Instead of them driving it to where it needed to be they overnighted it. Ken and I retained Chris Shipley after many of the leaders in our county zoning department suggested him as one of the most knowledgeable land law lawyers in our area.
