My family member hired Shawna because the will executor managing an estate was not distributing funds, she allegedly told my family member that she could "sit in the money so long as [the will executor] had a good enough excuse". I asked an online forum just to verify and indeed, that's not how that works. If it has been some time the executor can be challenged in court and replaced, just because Oregon does not have a maximum time frame for distributing funds doesn't mean she gets to take as long as she wants.
