I am writing to document my experience as a former client of attorney Julie Williamson in a contested divorce and child custody matter. In my personal opinion, her representation was profoundly disappointing and fell far below the standard of diligence and advocacy that I reasonably expected when I retained counsel. Throughout the course of my case, Ms. Williamson appeared to provide legal advice that was outdated, superficial, and insufficiently tailored to the specific facts and procedural posture of my situation. I repeatedly felt that she was unprepared to address current legal standards and strategies, and that she did not offer thoughtful or proactive guidance. Terrible communication, almost impossible to get hold of anyone. She (Williamson at least) floats between multiple offices. After almost a year of having basically every important document I own with no communication from her-despite multiple attempts through various modes of contact- my family and I managed to find her personal email (she has no direct email/phone through the law firms website; no one does) and also sent certified mail threatening legal action to finally get her attention. Once we did that I had my response in 1 day and documents within the week. In summary, don't be like me. Trust the negative reviews 🤷

Julie Williamson deserves zero stars. Worst lawyer I’ve ever had the dis-pleasure of dealing with. She talks a good game, but once she has your money you get nothing in return. Won’t return calls, emails, or do anything that is asked of her. We basically wasted the money and had to hire another lawyer to do the job right. Do not recommend.

Don't get for a divorce and they charge a very high percentage that many attorneys can handle for less. Try white peck and Carrington for quality and price. They sure did me better.
