I was recommended to Richard by my real estate agent for the sale of my house in Albany. I didn’t feel like he fully understood the issues surrounding the sale of the house because because he didn’t ask me the right questions and I don’t understand legalese. I decided to hire another attorney, who was more effective and resolved outstanding matters very quickly. When I came to billing, he said I owed him the retainer fee. When I asked for a breakdown because I didn’t feel like a lot of work was done, he charged me a higher fee. Very unethical. I don’t recommend.
