My family and I had the unfortunate experience of having Mike Rich serve as the mediator on our case. He started the day by arriving late and was extremely unhelpful for the entire sordid affair. Mike’s introductory speech to us consisted mostly of him bragging about how many cases he has successfully resolved through mediation, bold claims of getting parties to give concessions, and his fake smile. Mike was not the slightest bit concerned with facts or evidence and wrote every disagreement off by saying “Well you say one thing and they say the complete opposite”. Despite our constant offers to supply photos, videos, and other documents supporting our position - Mike couldn’t be bothered to consult them. I was told I had a 30-50% chance to win a lawsuit against the twsp. After tens of thousands, engineers, depositions, mediation, the judge ruled ALL CLAIMS against the twsp. were irrevelant!!! Tort Claims Act. Both lawyers I dealt with should have known this! There are a few exceptions. Very Disappointing
