She was the court appointeted GAL for our foster now adoptive daughter. She never reached out, waited a year to even meet the child she was representing.. and confused our case more than one time, claiming she had two cases with our daughters VERY unique name as the excuse. She made visitation rules to protect the child, even had us testify as to why she wanted to remove visitation rights and then used her own rules against DCS at trial saying they made visitation difficult. She said her role was to be objective, a GALs role is to represent the child's best interest and how do you know what that is when you have seen the child once? I am not sure she even knew what child she was representing. I am so glad that the newly appointed judge saw right through all of this.
