Customer Reviews
Theyre "lawyers" are rude. Uneducated & flat out disrespectful to people who are genuinely just trying to seek direction on where to go.
Never helps and always finds excuses as to why they can't take this or that. I think this is maybe the second time in the 10 years I've and reached out, and last time they had a ton of excuses as the why they couldn't take that case. I mean I don't understand what the point of their services are if they don't specialize in this or speciale that.
Benjamin Challingsworthwas assigned to me and did not help defend me at all. It felt as if he were working for the other attorney. He did not bring up anything that was pertinent to my case. I ended up having my dog taken away from me and my name on a 6 year loan for a car that my abuser drivers every day. I have been to another lawyer to get off this loan and Benjamin Challingsworth has put me in a position where I am unable to get my name off this loan unless my abuser puts the car in his name.
Very informational, helpful. Attorney was unable to physically represent me because I applied for representation less than one week before my court hearing. However, I got a prompt response via phone from Attorney Rebecca Ardoline. She was genuinely concerned and attentive. E-mailed me a very important affidavit that I would need. Great job from Mid Penn Legal Aid through entire process both times. (My second time using them.)
Their resources on the website pointed me in the right place for tenants act vs landlords vs utility and eviction. In my eyes I won the case because my landlord did not keep his home I was renting up to safe living standards so I didn't pay for two months which should been at least 6 months because there was a fire in the basement, sewer backed up and hot water tank did not work. Neither of those major problems were address in the numerous text message and phone calls I had made to him. Mid Penn legals resources guided me how to represent my self and that I did. I had pictures receipts and witness and the outcome was I didn't have to pay the back rent which was what I wanted out of it. I was already moving out because my son 4yrs old was constantly sick from the sewage in the basement. Tha
