As a real estate agent it’s important to have an attorney and paralegal team that is responsive, quick, thorough, flexible, and gets closings done on time. Their office is also newer, clean, and a convenient location. Leanne with Michael Johnson associates is who I usually work with and she is great. I have had multiple closings with her and she has been a great asset. She is someone I know I can count on. She was very helpful with my clients and they have been very happy as well. If you are doing a NC or SC closing I would give them a try.

I primarily worked with Kasey for my refinance. She was very responsive to my inquires and gave me updates in working with my lender, especially when my original closing date had to move out due to my lender needing more time to finalize things on their side. Rescheduling was quick & easy and I was able to close on that date with Michael. He was great at summarizing each document that needed to be signed or reviewed and we were done in less than 15 mins! I would definitely recommend and choose Michael Johnson & Associates with any future real estate needs.

I am a realtor and have used this office for many closings. My last closing did not go well and I will not be using them again. The attorney who closed my deal refused to fix an error on the CD and said they would figure it out after closing once they could verify the HOA had been paid even though my client showed her a canceled check at the closing table. Weeks went by and I called / emailed almost every day to get this fixed. They NEVER made the correction - instead they thought the buyer and seller could just figure it out. I reimbursed my seller in order to close this issue since the attorney 's office was not going to fix their error. Sad that they have lost my business over a few hundred dollars.

Marcy Benson and the lady at the front desk are absolutely the most rude and unprofessional people. I closed a week ago and I still have not received my funds for closing because they refused to wire my funds and made me have a check. On the day of my closing Marcy went to lunch for 2 hours. When I went to drop off the keys the the house, Marcy slammed the door in my face! What an awful experience. I would not recommend. They are awful. If I could give less than 1 star I would.

I recently sold a home and had funds placed in escrow for incomplete repairs. On 10/11/21, I sent an invoice from a contractor requesting the surplus funds be mailed to my home. There was no response. On 10/19/21, I sent a follow up email and received an out of office reply. I called in and explained the situation and asked the status of my refund. They took my name and number and stated someone would call me back that afternoon. They didn't. On 10/20/21, I called, gave my name and number, and again was told I would receive a call back later that afternoon. I didn't. Again, on 10/21/21 I called in and was told I would receive a call back. This time I was assured an attorney would get back to me. He didn't. On 10/25, I received an email from a paralegal indicating funds for repai
