I was 14 when I went to court for possession of 4 lbs. of HEMP. Well of course the cops said it was cannabis and nailed me with a "manufacuring THC" charge. instead of doing the speedy trial (you have that right and had i done it they could not have charged me as an adult), lettenberger would "motion for a continuance" at each court visit. he told me he was doing this so that everyone would "forget" the details of the case and we'd have a better chance at winning. later in life i realized he was actually "motioning for continuances" until i was old enough to waive into adult court (age 15.5) at which point they did so and charged me like an adult. this meant i could be given a tougher sentence, and i was. i did 2 years in county jail and 7 years on probation. thanks frank. so the bottom
