I hired Legacy Counsellors to help me file an application to MassHealth to support my wife, now with dementia and in a nursing home. My estate is complicated. We had a wonderful experience working with Legacy Counsellors! Following my mom's death, we were informed by Michael Gove, our excellent estate attorney, that we needed to complete state and federal tax returns for her estate. He put us in the able care of Emily Sorbi who skillfully oversaw the process from beginning to end. She collected information on my mom's assets at the time of death, provided the names of potential appraisers for the house, filled out both the state and federal returns, answered all our questions about the various numbers, and submitted both filings on our behalf.
