Bigger crooks then the criminals they help lock up. Some of the most corrupt individuals in the state of Oklahoma. Almost 2 years later still trying to seek information on why my brother was left dead in a cell for 8 plus hours, no answers as to why there was no investigation and still can't get answers, won't even be bothered to help look into it. The people of this county deserve better than these corrupt officials who constantly cover up wrong doings.

Awesome experience with the Leflore County Sheriffs Department. My family and I were driving from Dallas to Branson and the motor in our suv blew up. Officer Hicks stopped to check on us sitting on the side of Hwy 271 right outside of Wister. Even though she was off duty and on her way home she really went out of her way for us. I will forever be grateful for her help and support. Thank you guys for assisting us and letting my boys sit in the a/c. Be safe out there.

I have waited almost 2 hours Outside their office just to file a retraining order. They are very rude.... They definitely act like they don't like their jobs. Chick behind the counter, was just playing on her phone, acting as if I was interrupting her. Ypur job is to help people.

Seemed efficient at the time the lady in the office was very efficient the judge took care of business promptly. But it's been a week and the oder had not been served when I left Friday to go to a family reunion , maybe it's just a slow process.

Sometimes they will not keep track and you will pay off all of your fines and end up in jail anyway. A family member of mine experienced this. Moral of the story - always keep your records and receipts!!
