Don’t send this guy’s paralegal any of your personal information on initial calls without actually speaking to Russell Goldsmith and deciding if you want to use him or knowing if he’ll take your case. I contacted him as an inquiry upon recommendation of another attorney in Maine. He didn’t want my case (I would not have used him annyway) and now refuses to delete the personal information he received from me. He uses Maine Bar rules as an excuse although the rules are vague and typically refer to clients. Prospective clients without engagement letters or fee agreements are NOT clients. I suggest you tread lightly in what you give him unless you are actually his client. There is zero reason he behaves as he does.

Russell Goldsmith is a very knowledgeable attorney in his field. He was also quite prompt at replying to my enquiry. I did not even use him, as I ended up not filing a claim, but he still went out of his way to review my case in detail and answer any and all of my questions.
