Smilie and team were great in helping with our initial estate planning. He was able to clearly answer questions we had and recommend the right set of documents for our current situation, as well as guidance on when we may wish to make changes. It never felt like he was trying to sell us or get us to sign up for more documentation than what we really needed and was very focused on meeting us where we were at with honest and transparent guidance.

Smilie Rogers generously agreed to donate his time to help our fledgling nonprofit organization with an application for tax exemption. He researched and provided numerous free resources, critiqued our documents, and gave guidance for strengthening our materials. And significantly, the atmosphere of the office was comfortable, not in the least bit intimidating as many legal offices can be, just what I would want for estate planning.
