Janet assisted with the sale of my 90-year-old father’s home in Somerset. During the process, she incorrectly charged him and later had him sign an agreement to pay additional fees. Her behavior throughout was unprofessional and disrespectful, particularly toward a 90-year-old Veteran and retired Detective. I strongly recommend carefully reviewing her fees and verifying all calculations.

More than 6 months ago, I contact Ms Gerard for assistance in adding my wife’s name to a rental property. It is was routinely difficult to get Ms Gerard to return a phone call or email. When she did respond, I was continually told that we were close to completion. A month ago, Ms Gerard ceased communication entirely, not answering numerous phone calls and emails. After 6 months I was forced to contact another attorney and start again at square one. Perhaps Ms Gerard doesn’t like the Met Life legal plan I have coverage through. If so, she should cease participating with the plan as opposed to ignoring her clients. If it is the result of another reason, a phone call or even an email would have been appreciated to explain it.

Working alongside Ms.Gerard has been an extreme pleasure. She walked us through our attorney review process seamlessly and was available at all times. She ensured to allow us ample room to ask any questions and even provided her personal cell. Ms. Gerard surpasses any attorney I have worked with in the past and her forms of communication definitely worked for our busy lives. She could do text, call and email which is important when navigating around clients schedules. I will refer her to other friends as needed, but truly one of the easiest processes we've experienced in our home buying journey thanks to her!
