I hired David in March 2024 for my divorce. Early in the case, I was granted full custody of my children, placing me in a strong legal position. Despite that, I was advised to accept an agreement that reduced custody and resolved a restraining order against my ex to share custody, with the explanation that it would make me “look better” to the court. I followed that advice. In hindsight, it was a serious error. That agreement eliminated the leverage I had and exposed me to renewed conflict and a subsequent DVRO based on many false claims later on.
