Beware of Kooperman, Mentel, Crossley, Yarros Ltd. Aggressive and Potentially Illegal Tactics I recently had an extremely unpleasant and concerning experience with Kooperman, Mentel, Crossley, Yaross, Ltd. and their employee, Nancy Heckler. Ms. Heckler contacted numerous family members, including one of my patients, in a frantic attempt to reach me regarding an alleged debt. This was the first I had heard of any such debt. She never disclosed the nature of the supposed debt to my relatives, causing unnecessary alarm and distress. When I finally spoke with Ms. Heckler, she claimed I owed $9,000 in unpaid unemployment benefits to the state of Ohio. This was surprising, as I live and operate my business on the other side of the country and have always paid my unemployment taxes locally. She
