**DO NOT USE THIS LAW FIRM – PLEASE READ** Issues: Exceedingly slow, unresponsive, unprofessional, and uncouth Details: I contacted Kirkman, Whitford, Berryman, Gordon & Brown P.A. in July 2025 to prepare several simple and standard estate planning documents (will, living will, POA, and medical POA) for my aunt. Although I live in Charlotte, NC, I made the roughly five-hour drive to attend the initial meeting with her on 8/8/2025. The meeting lasted about an hour while the attorney gathered my aunt’s information and estate wishes. During that meeting, it was clearly communicated that I live out of town and would be paying on her behalf, which they acknowledges as a non-issue. What followed was silence. After the initial meeting, we heard nothing for three months. I eventually called the

I highly recommend Kimberly Farias for any case involving divorce, child custody, child support, adoption or any matter in the domestic courts or family court in Carteret County and Morehead City NC. Her retainer rates are on par with other lawyers in the county but her attention to detain and actually listening is what stood out for me.

I had Brady for my divorce and it was the worst experience ever. She is completely incompetent and has no business being a lawyer.

I love Kim Farias and the office staff. Kim Farrias has her own firm now however.
