Told me that my landlady is legally allowed to misgender me and hand over private information about me to my neighbors and that I have no legal protections because "you know who runs HUD."

I am truly so impressed and thankful for this organization. My experience from beginning to end was wonderful; I felt so supported and embraced. Eve and Jessica were so thorough, professional, compassionate and prompt with communication and paperwork. The attorneys I was paired with put me at ease, were excellent and I felt they were truly in my corner and had my back. It was truly a team effort and this is a beautiful example of what can be accomplished through compassion, service and supporting one another. Thank you Eve and Jess! ❤️❤️

I asked for assistance from them and was denied becasue the case was a CHIPS case. I understand that, i tried to ask a questions and was shutdown before i could even ask the questions. My question would have been - who do i contact in the courts to ask for help? That is not a legal question, just asking to be pointed in the right direction to do what they said. How helpful is that?

This is basically just legal advice & you are self representing if you qualify. That's not always made clear somehow. They don't actually do anything for you. They just guide you through forms & advise you. It's basically the legal form of offical Google which isn't what some people are looking for. If you're involved in complicated legal stuff then this probably isn't for you.

No stars, Lined me up with a attorney that was rude, didn't want me in his office, didn't want to help a disabled person. When I complained about what happened and that it was the wrong attorney for me, I was shut out, case closed, you're not getting any help from us. Leaving me without any legal help.
