Joseph K. Scott III, Attorney at Law

I met Joe in 2019 when i hired him to represent me before my professional board. I am a clinical social worker. Later after my father died we reconnected. Joseph is my partner. After we broke up in 2023 Joe advocated for me this year in a way i will never be able to say express my gratitude for when he could have stayed silent. I will always love Joe for this. While we didn't work out it doesn't take away from my respect for him as a lawyer. I tried to convince him to partner with me for months but doubt we could work together. Thank you, Mr. Scott. Not only did he keep me informed but he made my concerns his concerns. I am from out of state and Mr. Scott went out of his way to make sure this process went smoothly through this very stressful time. Picked up a MIP and open container charge while at LSU for a football game. I am an Illinois resident and stressed about having to return to Louisiana. Mr. Scott was extremely informative in letting me know multiple defense strategies, and always responded very promptly to any questions I had. I never had to return to LA at all and the charges ended up being dropped about 3 months later. Lastly, he charged a very fair price when compared to some other lawyers for the same service.
