I have known Jim Downey for many years and have always trusted him when I required great wisdom and rock solid good advice. On several matters his expertise was so extraordinary I invited him to stay at my ocean front cottage in New England-- on the house. I would go so far as to say that he has more respect in the trial courts of northern Virginia than any other lawyer I know of. He also seems very fair on his rates and works with those who appear to have financial and emotional hardship. He is a true gentleman of marked integrity and wisdom.

Jim Downey has been our attorney for many years and has been there to support us through all of our problems. Not only is he a fine lawyer but he is also a kind and understanding gentleman.. Recently he helped us through a year long confrontation with the buyer of our property and brought through to a successful conclusion, holding our hands all the way.
