Be cautious if you are a loan officer, real estate agent or someone looking to purchase or sell your home. You are not in good hands. Unprofessional and do not complete their tasks as is required. I am a loan officer, and we got the clear to close for a client looking to purchase their first home. That same day we are told there is a title issue. They had a whole 2 months to bring this issue up, but not only did they tell us at the very end, they have also dragged their feet for the last 20 days in clearing title. Absolutely no urgency, and to make matters worse they do not disclose any specific information to the buyer, seller, the agents or myself so that we can go out ourselves to help fix the issue. I've done close to a dozen closings with Shawn Horan at Horan Law Group (formally Harrison and Horan), and I've had a great experience every time. I'm a big fan of keeping my business local and they are a great local firm that I love doing business with. They get the job done for me on both simple and more complex real estate transactions. While they may not be as large as some of the in-town firms, they make up for it with personable customer service. Shawn will gladly take as much time as you need to explain something and has always been quick to personally respond to concerns or requests, which is certainly not something you normally get at larger firms. Great folks! Definitely would recommend closing with them.

This review is in regards to the way my fiancé and I were treated during the closing of our construction loan recently. Miranda B Jordan has to be the rudest person I’ve ever met in my life. Our first encounter with this individual was a week ago at our first closing. Upon arrival at the office, Ms. Jordan sat with us explaining the paperwork and admonished us to read through the documents to ensure everything was correct, which was exactly what we did. We realized that the documents had incorrect information and immediately brought that to Ms. Jordan’s attention, of which she seemed aggravated. They kept $145 of my earnest money that was held for all but 2 days...I see how lawyers get over they charge for stuff they don't do...I am a retired police of 30 years with a pension these ppl are dead beats....I had to come back and reply to the below comment my real estate agent and I never knew you would take any of the earmest money that was never disclosed. Also, in 2 days you are rip off artist put a sock in it believe all of the comments for this firm...The greed is real the title search should not have been done before the appraisal ...I know you needed the $145 if my office was in a shack I would too..The thing is I see closure in your future for poor treatment of clients and I am very intuitive...I know crooks when I see them....People you have been warned!!!!
