I strongly do not recommend this firm for divorce representation. In my experience, my case was not handled with the level of preparation, strategy, or advocacy I expected. During critical stages, I was concerned about the lack of readiness and the overall approach taken in representing my interests. Communication was consistently inadequate. I was not routinely provided copies of filings or important documents related to my case and often had to request basic updates. This lack of transparency created significant stress and uncertainty. Additionally, I experienced unprofessional and dismissive interactions with office staff, which added to my frustration during an already difficult process. The Law Offices of Harrison and Fortier were ever present throughout my divorce proceeding which was very reassuring for me. They are compassionate and provided solid feedback to all my questions. Divorce is never fun, and mine was no exception. Jackie told me from the beginning she would do her best to get me everything I would need to support my kids and assured me that I would be fine at the end of this. My divorce took a long time because of scheduling conflicts and other factors outside of our control. Looking back through the first "complaint for divorce" to what I was awarded by the judge, I was granted everything we originally asked for (not the exact original amounts for support and alimony, but still enough to cover our needs). 1. They were very nice and upheld a decent conversation to assist me in my needs, however.. 2. After a 14minute conversation I was told to go to another lawyer to assist due to a high client volume and not so very efficient practices in Florida law. 3. Secretary was extremely...how to say..flattering towards myself leading to an uncomfortable feeling. 4. After said 14minute conversation the total of $250 was still required to be paid after be told to go to another law firm to assist me in my custody needs. I would HIGHLY recommend not using this firm due to the belief they are only out for consultation money when they know "their client volume" is still too high yet still take consultations. If I could rate 0 stars I would.

This has been the most painful and traumatizing experience of my life. That said, I couldn't be happier with my choice for Harrison & Fortier to represent me. They have been with me for every decision and through every experience that this divorce has thrown at me. They are professional, thorough, and certainly earn their reputation as the bulldogs of family court. It is said that nobody truly wins in divorce and custody cases but I am certain that they have mitigated my loss better than any of the other lawyers I've seen in my time in court could have.
