I had a great experience with Mr. Handlon. I walked in unaware and left well educated. He made me feel more confident in myself and the process ahead of me. He was very honest and to the point and didn't beat around the bush. Highly recommend!

Wish I could give a lower review than 1 star. But I think the public should know people like this. I normally do not write reviews, but some just need to be heard. I had the same experience as other reviews, almost to the tee. I had one visit. He is very rude and chauvinistic to say the least. He judged me profusely without cause, lots of negative words to have the upper hand. When I stood my ground, he opened the door and said leave. He wants to intimidate you and doesn't care about the truth or facts. What is happening to Midland Court systems. He is out for your money…please beware of lawyers like this. Way too expensive for the service.

Divorce can be an emotionally toxic event. I am not an easy person to keep focused on the facts and wanted to get lost in the dolor. Richard was able to keep me focused on what was import for the legal side that I do not understand. I would veer off on an emotional rant at times and while he did not sugar coat responses, they kept me focused on what mattered. He negotiated greatly and was a pleasure to work with. After my second meeting with him, I realized that I was asking the same questions, pushing the same emotionally irrelevant points, and he was gracious enough to entertain me with the same responses. Thank you for helping me in during that difficult time and thank you for everything you do.

I had the same experience as the other 2 real reviews listed for this firm. I was asked a question by Richard Handlon, and when I tried to answer, he interrupted me, told me that my answer was wrong, and when I tried to explain that in order to understand everything that had lead to this point in time, I needed to explain this. I started again, and was again interrupted, and talked down to. After about 3 minutes of this unprofessional behavior, I sat in silence because everything I tried to say was interrupted. Eventually he, literally, threw my papers that I had given him to review back at me and told me in a loud and extremely condescending tone "Goodbye". I was referred to him directly by his wife, I thought maybe he would show a little respect because of that, but I was wrong. Do
