Hallock and Associates is a scam!! I trusted them and now I am in a worse place because of them. I have been paying them on time every month for 2 years $617.24. They settled 1 credit card. However my son’s bank account got garnished for over $10,000 his hard earned money. ( my name was on the account because he was a minor when he opened it) not one penny was mine! I was never notified of any court dates or hearings. Never received any notices. They were going to an attorney that I never talked to before. He never showed up for the hearing to handle this case and I never knew about it. Now I have more garnishments and summons that I have to handle. Hallock and Associates never answer their phones and send the same email back to me to call them. I can go on and on. Do NO

Anyone on here with a good review definetly works for them! Scammers! They failed to complete what was legally promised. Halfway through the debt consolidation after I already paid them 8000$ they all of a sudden can no longer represent me. These people need to be in jail . And us as consumers should be reimbursed since services rendered were not what was promised and legally signed upon. Scam!

They never could really answer my questions when I had one. If I made multiple payments ahead they never gave information on if that would speed up a settlement but if I skipped or reduced a payment I was told it will push the program back one month. They told me for nearly a year that one of my accounts should be settled by next month. Every time I called they would tell me that and that they are working with the lender. I understand it taking a few months but a whole year not being able to settle seems excessive to me. It seems like no one was taking initiative to close my cases and that they were taking their time to get more money from me. Hallock & Associates is The worst Decision I ever made in my Life. I was Paying 800 dollars a Month in the Program and 540 was Going towards Fees. For almost a year I was mis led thinking I was paying 270 a month in fees Finally a customer service rep told me the Truth I was devastated but I was in too deep to quit the program even though I was told several times you always can get out of the program. No way was I was going to leave the program the Damaged was done. I can go on and on about Hallock & Associates But no Need the Federal government step in and froze all their assets and they are in litigation presently to this Day. I hope the attorney General Make them Payback all the illegal Fees they Received and Put them out of Business for Good. I really didn't want to give them one Star

They never answer the phone, been on a debt consolidation program for 3+ years now for 4 accounts that I had with creditors. Only got 1 of the 4 accounts settled, not sure where in the hell my money is going. Do NOT use their services, they seemed great at first but now I can't even get in touch with them and they are defendants in a pending lawsuit.
