Instead of mitigating a family law matter Hale Ball Murphy choice to drag out issues in order to create more billing hours. We ended going with another firm that helped move things to a quick and economic resolution.

My family hired this firm in 2017 on a fixed-fee basis for a trust and estate plan. In particular, we needed the trust to take into account the future needs of our fully disabled daughter. We communicated what we needed and that our family situation was not typical. We expected an estate plan that would take into account those needs. We were given a stack of documents and charged extra for a meeting to review them. It turns out that, given our family situation, these were entirely insufficient for our needs. I can't recommend them for complex trust work based on this approach.

Five Stars! Ms Fredieu is a highly effective attorney with impeccable character, a strong work ethic, a superior knowledge of the law, and impressive attention to detail. Ms Fredieu successfully defended me against two separate complaints that were simultaneously filed against me by a plaintiff over the same issue using two separate unscrupulous law firms. Ms Fredieu has the innate ability to formulate a strong legal strategy and mount a very effective defense on her client’s behalf. Ms Fredieu used her scholarly knowledge to research & brief complex prior legal cases & established legal precedents and presented her findings in clear & concise language that made it easier for the judges and the opposition to understand. Ms Fredieu is very congenial, intelligent, and easy to talk to.

My husband and I had our estate planning done at Hale Ball. We were only thinking about our wills when we started the process, but our lawyer, Loretta Morris Williams advised us to also put our Medical and Financial directives in place. Ms. Williams spent time explaining every document to us, and we had the whole process wrapped up in a month including the editing and back-and-forth process. I highly recommend Hale Ball and Ms. Williams in particular. She's very knowledgeable, pleasant and professional - as apprehensive we were about doing this, we're so relieved that we're done!

Outstanding attention to the full history, context and details of the matter by Samantha in the firm. Very patient with me explaining the best options to resolve a contentious estate situation that had gone on for 3 years previously where another very strong firm was on the other side using "low-ball, then delay then obfuscate, then avoid" tactics with my prior counsel. Once formally engaged on the case, Samantha resolved the entire matter w/in approx 4 months for a reasonable fee as well considering the amount of time invested in the process (Expect it to be a process of back and forth and attrition BTW!). I couldn't be more pleased with the firm, Samantha and Kara's professionalism, teamwork or the positive results for my family's future!
