David charges a flat fee he is not proactive he says he is friends with the Proscutor so he talked and got a plea but could have gotten a much better one if he sent for psychotherapy and psycho evaluation looked into his abuse and Councling from childhood and could have gotten him help ! we mention he said it wouldn’t make a difference at sensing when one letter mention the abuse he had as a child judge said there is no proof of this David never said he has a letter from Councler and he was in Councling he did nothing to help get leniency 20 yr old and his whole life is ruined with Megan’s law and parole and 5 yrs . Never touched anyone was a minor when she sent pics and videos kept them after he turned 18 all from low self esteem ,abused at 2-3 yrs old being bullied , abandoned by Dad

Mr. Gelman seemed reputable judging by his news interviews & political opinions posts all over YouTube & Facebook. Yet, it’s a fraud. He took $7K from my family & didn’t do A SINGLE THING. His staff couldn’t even do proper records requests. After 6 emails - WE did the proper records request. Once he realized he wasn’t experienced enough to handle a case against the Superior courts, he sent us a “I can’t help you, I’m sorry” email & kept ALL of our money. He told us 3 calls, all totaling under 1.5hr was worth $7K. Mr. Gelman - we are filing an ethics grievance. Your practices are atrocious.

Completely ripped off . David told us 5000 flat fee for my whole court proceedings. I sent over the 5000 right away to retain him … when sent the agreement he wrote it a way to be confusing and throw me off but essentially he tried billing me for 20,000 dollars i didnt not sign the agreement and told him it is illegal to charge 5000 for every court proceeding from me understanding and when i told him i knew it was off he said he's dropping me as a client thinking i signed the agreement already which i didn't he said im dropping you and keeping half the money and will refund you a percentage of it . He lied to me so much and also yelled and screamed at my fiance . This was a a very hard time in both of our lives and he took all the money i had for a lawyer and now im not able to retain one

My 22 year old son got in some serious trouble back in March, that could have resulted in prison time. David Gelman negotiated a deal with prosecutors that kept my son out of prison. When additional charges came up after that, Mr. Gelman was willing to take payments that were within my budget. He also had flat rate if we didn’t go to trial and I didn’t have to worry about costs sneaking up on me. My son’s second case has yet to be resolved, but I have every confidence that Mr. Gelman will get him the best deal that can be had, and while I hope to never again need his services, he will be the 1st person that I turn to and/or recommend.

It was my first serious traffic offense and I was terrified, but Mr. Gelman was absolutely terrific. His staff prepared me for everything, walked me through the entire process, and helped ease so much anxiety. Thanks to their hard work and guidance, we had a very positive outcome. I cannot thank him enough.
